DIGITAL MARKETING SPECIALIST

Location: Houston, TX

Purpose:

This position is responsible for leading the Global Marketing team's digital marketing program and is a liaison to the Global Sales team. The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for targeting and designing the digital marketing campaigns to increase the reach and engagement of our audiences. In addition, the role supports the digital lead generation process within our CRM system.

Responsibilities:

• Build digital marketing campaigns aligned with business goals, communicating campaigns results and project recommendations
• Strong understanding of online promotion tactics (i.e. paid advertising) and how to connect these with lead generation process
• Create compelling social media, website, webinar, and newsletter content (written content and accompanying graphics) to increase engagement and boost lead generation
• Manage website and social media programs with the goal of expanding our web presence to boost brand awareness
• Analyze and optimize social media, website, and email campaigns using A/B testing to enhance performance
• Present monthly reporting of all digital activities
• Plan, manage, and coordinate webinar programs
• Lead SEO management using Google Analytics to compile regular performance reports and assisting the content team in the creation of high-quality SEO content
• Support the efforts for NDT Global's website redesign project working with the third-party vendor and internal teams
• Understand broader ecosystem of platforms that make up the marketing technology stack (e.g. Marketing automation, CMS, CRM) and integration challenges
• Perform effective targeting and segmentation to support email campaigns within the CRM (Microsoft Dynamics)
• Support the growth, management, and segmentation of the contact databases to maximize campaign performance. Work to minimize list decay and unsubscribes while increasing the productivity of our email sends
• Provide support in implementing marketing automation tools, including detailed understanding of tools used and best practices employed
• Support establishment of funnel measurement and tracking approaches, e.g. including lead capture, lead conversion, closed sales (and revenue), attribution back to marketing activities
• Leverage lead scoring approach to maximize the effectiveness of campaigns
• Build and support marketing automation campaign performance dashboard

Education:

• Relevant degree in Marketing or related Business discipline
• 3-5 years of digital marketing experience

Work experience:

• Strong working knowledge of marketing and communication platforms (GoTo Webinar, Microsoft Dynamics, Click Dimensions, Hootsuite)
• Strong proficiency with LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Vimeo
• Prior experience creating social media and website content with measurable results
• Experience creating graphics with Adobe Illustrator or other graphics programs 
• Strong knowledge of Google Analytics and social media platform analytics, as well as the creation of analytics reports/dashboards for presentation to the organization
• Knowledge of video creation and editing is a plus
• Prior experience in Oil &Gas and/or Technology industries required
